ICELAND MUSIC EXPORT FUND IS TRANSITIONING TO THE NEW MUSIC FUND.

The New Music Fund takes over the role of the Export Fund to provide travel and marketing grants for music export projects.

The application deadline will be announced in April. It is no longer possible to apply for grants from this website. New Iceland Music website is on the way.

Iceland Music Export Fund

The Icelandic Music Export Fund operates in accordance with regulations that were approved by the Minister of Education and Culture on February 5, 2013.

The export funds role in the Icelandic music industry is to provide support to Icelandic musicians in their endeavors to reach a wider audience, expand their market, and enhance their prospects for success beyond Iceland.

The fund offers support to musicians and music industry professionals who seek to promote their musical projects through concert tours and marketing efforts abroad. The Funds objective is to enhance the visibility of Icelandic musicians and to create valuable connections beyond Iceland, thereby increasing the number of opportunities available to them.
